All Saints' Primary School partners with local and BCE secondary schools to ensure a smooth transition for students graduating Year 6 and to help students in Year 5 with secondary schooling options available to them. Our partner schools and programs are:
McAuley College, Beaudesert
Our students from Year 5 are invited out to McAuley College for an experience day which has a range of subjects available for them to try. These include
- Hospitality (baking muffins)
- Visual Arts
- STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) learning activities
Boonah State High School
Our local High School welcomes our Year 6 students for a Day of Experience which occur three times a year. These can include activities such as:
- Science
- Agriculture
- IT
- English
- German
- Math
- Design & Technology
- PE
These experience days are a great way for students to become acclimatised to a high school environment, potentially with the school that they will be attending. They can meet the teachers, meet their future cohort, see the school's layout and understand what is to come upon their graduation.
